Reiki Community
Alyce Tartell is a certified Reiki Master Teacher. Alyce has been a Reiki practioner since 1982, and is certified by Reverend John Harvey Gray who was initiated by Hawayo Takata.
Reiki (pronounced "ray-key"), is the Japanese word for "Universal Life Energy." This energy is all around us and we can channel it. An ancient healing art, Reiki is a simple method of hands on healing developed in the 1920’s by Mikao Usui of Kyoto, Japan. The system was passed on from Mikao Usui, to Dr. Chujiro Hayashi. Dr. Hayashi, in turn, passed the teachings down to a Japanese-American woman, Mrs. Hawayo Takata, who introduced the system to the West. Mrs. Takata taught Reiki to John Gray, who was Alyce Tartell's Reiki teacher in 1982. He is one of the original 22 Reiki teachers in the USA.

Today, there are many Reiki teachers throughout the world. A practitioner will learn Reiki in three stages: Level One, Level Two, and the Level Three, which will certify them to teach others to become practitioners. That level is also called a Reiki Master Teacher. Alyce teaches the original Usui method. The Reiki energy flows through the hands of the practitioner and into the person being treated, enhancing and accelerating the natural healing processes in the body. Wellness Community
The mission of the Wellness Community of Central AZ is to help people with cancer, cancer survivors, and their families. They offer a professional program of educational and support groups at their beautiful center in central Phoenix. All of their programs are free of charge to community participants.

The Johrei Fellowship is an international organization devoted to bringing about the transformation of the human spirit. Universal Energy, or the Divine Light, when focused on the spiritual body of an individual dispels clouds or negativity, from the etheric body and raises the spiritual vibration. When clouds are dispelled from the spiritual body, toxins in the physical body dissolve and are eliminated to a large extent.
